After more than 32 years in law enforcement and 25 years with the Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office, Chief Deputy Don Starry retired Dec. 31. He will leave behind a legacy of honor, service and integrity.
“He has the respect of our entire department and will be greatly missed,” said Sherburne County Sheriff Joel Brott.
Starry served as a DARE officer, liaison officer, captain, and chief deputy. He was also a graduate of the FBI academy.
“[I thank] Don for [his] distinguished service and all the best in a well-earned retirement,” said Sheriff Brott.
