Twenty-one handmade quilts were auctioned off at St. Luke’s in Clearwater Sunday as part of their Parish Festival activities. 

 

The 20 quilts created by St. Luke’s senior quilters group included pieced quilts and ones featuring needlework; all were hand quilted. There were a variety of colors and patterns available, with sizes ranging from baby to king. The money raised from the sale of the quilts, over $7,000, goes to the church building fund.

 

The final quilt in the auction catalogue was created by Carol Mason of Clearwater, who donated it to the Clearwater Friends of the Library. The money raised by its sale will be used for library programs and other needs.
