Splash Pad, sports courts open at BCC

The Becker Community Center campus just got some exciting new outdoor activities, free for community use.

The new splash pad is a treat for young families looking for a fun way to spend the day. The pad will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every day through Labor Day. If the water is not running, patrons simply need to push the activator button on the red pedestal to start the fun!

A new basketball court was also installed, thanks to the support of the Becker Youth Basketball Assoc., the Becker Lions Club, Knife River, and Cornerstone Concrete.

Finally, two new pickleball courts are also open. Pickleball kits are available to borrow from the Becker Library, and includes paddles, balls, and game instructions.

These new attractions were brought to the community center by the City of Becker and the Parks and Rec. Dept.
