The Becker Primary School’s second grade students put on a concert March 8-9 to the theme of Carnival.
The concert featured celebration music from countries around the world.
Songs included Hot! Hot! Hot!, Cumbia del Sol, Cirandeiro, Horch, was kommt von draussen rein?, When the Saints Go Marching In, and Freedom!
Nearly 240 students performed together to the awe of their families adding instruments, scarves and a German dance to fit the celebration theme.
