It is time for the Saron Lutheran Church in Big  Lake  to hold it’s annual  senior luncheon, Thursday, March 13 at noon.  

This lunch is  open to  all 55+ seniors in the area. The  2025 luncheon will be a Pre-St. Patrick’s  Day celebration with games and shenanigans along with  entertainment.

 The 7+ years  purpose of this senior luncheon  is to provide  time with friends and neighbors in the winter.  The luncheon activities vary from year to year, but  generally include light games, a theme centered photo corner,  entertainment,  a short program and a great lunch.

In the past Gilligan’s Island was recreated with a replica of the SS Minnow for photos.   In the past  the luncheon created a Caribbean cruise with cruise activities, a photo corner designed to create one’s own Twins baseball card as part of the  Minnesota Twins celebration. Last year was a Cinco de Mayo party with entertainment by the Ballet Folkorico Rose Quetzal.
