There were also forums held in regards to the Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch, the Becker Police, Becker Fire and CentraCare Ambulance.

Prizes galore were handed out to the little ones and were sponsored by the Clear Lake Lions, Becker Twp., Xcel Energy, Connexus Energy, Becker McDonalds, Café Pawz, Becker Community Ed, Becker Fire Dept., Becker Police Dept., Becker Community Center, Liberty Paper and CentraCare.

Volunteers who helped put on the event included members from the  Becker High School National Honor Society, Becker Evangelical Free Church, Oakwood Church and Becker Baptist Church.

The afternoon culminated with pizza and the landing of the North Memorial Medical helicopter on the 50-yard line of the high school football field!

Officer Paul Hickerson, Becker Police and coordinator of this years program, said  the theme of this year’s event was how to respond to medical emergencies.

“We feel we provided a great program for the participants and now feel they are better equipped to assist and respond should something happen around them,” he said.  “It was a great day and a lot of fun for us adults to participate in too.  We are already starting to plan on next year’s program.”
