Happy New Year from the Refuge Rangers 4-H club!
We wrapped up 2025 raising over $1,000 bagging groceries at Monticello Cub Foods, learning about homing pigeons and celebrating with a fun Christmas party for our final meeting of the year. At the party, we had four stations including, a timed cup stack, card making, the Oreo Game — which involved getting the oreo from your forehead into your mouth the fastes — and a string candy cane game.
After the stations, we played left-right for a gift exchange. We made the cards to give to police officers and people in the nursing homes as our service project.
If these activities sound fun, it is the perfect time to join 4-H with plenty of time before the fair to get projects done and be included in our 2026 festivities!
