Residents, businesses, motorists, and everyone with an interest in State Trunk Hwy. 25 between Interstate 94 and US Hwy. 10 are being asked to provide comments on the Hwy.25 Area Planning and Environmental Linkages (PEL) Study Purpose and Need Statement.
Wright and Sherburne Counties initiated a PEL study of this area to take the next steps towards developing a long-term vision for transportation system improvements to the area. This PEL study will allow project partners to build consensus around needed transportation improvements consistent with the region’s goals and bridge the gap between previous traffic studies and required future environmental processes.
The next phase of this study begins with finalizing the Purpose and Need Statement, taking into consideration the public feedback received during the fall of 2023.
The Hwy. 25 Purpose and Need Statement is available for review beginning on March 12, 2024, and the document can be found on the project website (https://arcg.is/1qaWPz0). A paper copy is also available at the following locations:
