Area youngsters with an interest in dance will have a new opportunity to pursue their artistic interests when the new “Just for Kix” program gets underway in Monticello, according to youth dance program director Megan Tabako.

 

 With a background and passion for dance, Tabako says she is excited to be offering this exciting opportunity to the children of the community. She was a head instructor for another Just for Kix program for three years, she said, and she “jumped at the chance” to become a program director in this area.

 

The program provides an affordable, positive dance experience that focuses on teamwork and confidence building, Tobako said. 

 

The program has been in business for almost 35 years, Tabako said, and operates youth dance programs in fourteen states at nearly 210 locations, engaging over 20,000 young dancers.
