Music in the Park returns to Clearwater Friday

Get your lawn chairs out and your dancing shoes ready – Music in the Park is returning to Clearwater on Friday, May 28.

Clearwater hosted Music in the Park concerts throughout the summer in the past, however they were discontinued a number of years ago. With interest in bringing back the event rising, the Clear Valley Business Connection (CVBC) group took over the details.

The first performance has been approved by the city, and will be taking place on Friday, May 28 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Airborn Tavern (formerly Eagle Trace Golf Course). Admission is free for everyone who wants to enjoy an evening of outdoor music. The Nayman Brothers will be the featured performers, entertaining the crowd with the always popular classic rock genre. Food and drinks will be available for purchase during the event.

The goal for Music in the Park this summer is to have two to three performances and then request feedback from the community. Different genres of music will be featured at each concert. The event was created as a way for local businesses to give back to the community as well as getting the community together outside.

The first Music in the Park performance is being co-hosted by Airborn Tavern and CVBC, and will be located at Airborn Tavern, 1 Eagle Drive in Clearwater. All ages are welcome, so gather up the family for an evening of fun!
