Motorcycle Show featured at Wright Co. Fair

Along with all the other interesting, exciting, and just plain fun things to do at this year’s Wright Co. Fair was the Sunday Motorcycle Show.

The Motorcycle Show is one of the newer events of the fair. A Wright Co. Fair board member approached the Clearwater Legion Riders about holding one during the fair. They agreed, and the first show was held in 2018. The Legion Riders and the fair have since held the show annually.

This year 21 motorcycles entered the show, including trikes, customs, new, and vintage. The show was open to classic and custom bikes.

Two riders won a pair of tickets to the August 5 Homeless Vets Run, ride, and dinner in Clearwater, and two won a pair of tickets to the Street Dance at the Homeless Vets Run, also on August 5.

The weather was beautiful, and numerous fair attendees stopped by to discuss the motorcycles with their owners or just to admire them.

Up next for the Clearwater Legion Riders is their annual Homeless Vets Run fundraising event on August 5. Along with the ride there will be food, live and silent auctions, a gun raffle, and a street dance.
