Modest turnout for Becker Expo not a deterrent

The Becker Chamber of Commerce held their annual Becker Business Expo and Craft Fair last Saturday to a welcoming crowd. Over 80 vendors were reportedly on hand for the four hour event held at the Fieldhouse at Becker Schools.

LPI handed out free paper bags for guests to carry their purchases and giveaways in. There were numerous tables of crafter’s handiwork that stayed busy for most of the morning and afternoon. A wealth of local businesses had helpers ready to answer questions or drop giveaways into the treasured paper bags.

Starz Dancers Studio performed towards the back of the building as well as Just for Kix, Becker Robotics, a dog agility demonstration by Canine Cabin and Belly Dancers from Dance Caravan of Otsego. Refreshments were served in the foyer by members of DECA which included sodas, water, candy bars and light fare.

At the Becker Chamber of Commerce table, gift baskets were on display for guests to choose from after their bingo cards were filled up.

Some of the local businesses and crafters featured jewelry, home goods, body care, spices, clothing, can goods, candy, decor, books, kid games, skin care, makeup, ear piercing, cornhole boards, cribbage boards, kitchen gadgets and much more!
