McDonald’s Meats in Clear Lake hosted their Grand Opening event Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, October 11-12-13 after several months of remodeling and expanding their store. 

The business remained open during the remodeling project. The retail space now boasts 5,000 sq. ft. and has a beautiful new exterior, as well. Four new employees have been hired since the remodel was complete. Additional staff will be added as needed. 

The business was bustling with activity during the Grand Opening. It was a chance for local residents to see the amazing upgrades and additions to the building and also served as a great opportunity for customers to meet the people behind the business. 

People were also treated to tasty samples of products, including a few of the many new product offerings now available for sale. Product samples from multiple vendors were served all three days of the event. New products have been added daily and will continue for the next few months.

Specials were offered on wild rice sausage, fresh ground beef, chicken leg quarters, beef summer sausage and jumbo raw shrimp during the Grand Opening event.  

Strolling Musician Bill K. provided wonderful accordion music Wednesday  afternoon. His song selections ranged from Edelweiss to Black Sabbath. 

Scrumptious mini brats were served for $1 with proceeds being donated to the local food shelf. 

Other additions on the horizon at McDonald’s Meats include a 24/7 vending machine to purchase top quality meat around the clock, which is slated for Spring of 2024.
