McDonald’s Meats celebrates 110 years

McDonald’s Meats hosted their 110th anniversary sale this past week with the sale running Tuesday through Friday, April 2nd thru April 5th.

Their famous wild rice sausage (one of their signature items) was available in 5-lb. bags. Other items featured during the annual anniversary sale included pork loin chops (cut fresh daily), lean ground beef (81 % lean), fresh premium boneless chicken breasts, jumbo raw peeled and de-veined shrimp and McDonald’s Meats’ award winning recipe old fashioned wieners.

There were also many other in-store specials, as well as free coffee, cookies and lemonade.

Lines formed at the check-out counter but cashiers helped customers quickly. It was the first time the popular anniversary sale was held in their recently renovated and expanded state of the art store on Hwy. 24 in Clear Lake and was very well attended.

Almost 60,000-lbs of product was sold during the event.
