A Maple Lake man was killed when a pickup truck driven by a Kimball man hit him on the side of the road Tuesday evening in Clearwater Twp.

Scott Joseph Hollencamp, 34 of Maple Lake was standing on the shoulder of Hwy. 24 and milepost 43 after his Chrysler Cirrus had slid into the ditch and was hit by a Ford F-150 driven by Andre Deontay Clark, 34 of Kimball. Hollencamp was pronounced dead at the scene.

Clark was not injured.

Assisting at the scene were Wright County Sheriffs as well as Clearwater Fire and Allina Ambulance.
