The city of Clearwater has once again invited Lynden Township to participate in their spring clean up day, allowing the township to reinstate the event that they had recently cancelled.
The joint clean up day is scheduled for Saturday, April 29 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., and will be at the Clearwater maintenance facility on Hwy 75. Participants are asked to line up along the southbound shoulder of the highway.
Township residents are allowed to dispose of one load of trash per household free of charge; ID will be checked at the entrance.
A dumpster for free metal recycling will be available at the event; tires, appliances and electronic waste can be disposed of for a fee. Hazardous materials, batteries, paint and light bulbs will not be accepted.
