Shannon Barthel enjoyed the beauty of the Lady Slipper; Minnesota’s hard to find state flower on the Santiago-Becker township line while visiting her childhood home. Barthel is a former Becker resident and now resides in Florida. She treasures summer visits to Sherburne County.
