Library Offering Several June Programs

The Becker Public Library is offering the following programs in June:
 
 Baby/Toddler Time:  The library is offering a Baby/Toddler time event for children up to three years old and their parents/caregivers on Tue., June 16 from 10:30 - 11  a.m. Adults will learn songs and fingerplays to use at home with their children. Pre-registration is required and attendance is limited to ten children and their caregivers.
 
 Voyageur Songs:  Author Nikki Rajala will present a program titled “Voyageur Songs” at the library on Tue., June 16 from 11:15 a.m. to noon. The program is for children aged eight to 12. Rajala will teach several songs and describe the work and life of a voyageur. She will also read from her book, “Waters Like The Sky,” which is set among the voyageurs. Attendance is limited and pre-registration is required. 
 
Dewey Decimal Mural Project:  People of all ages are invited to take part in the Dewey Decimal Mural Project at the library Tues., June 16 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., and again Thurs., June 18 from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. Join local artist Alison Love Unzelman in creating the mural section for Dewey numbers 900 to 999. Pre-registration is required. This activity is funded in part by Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
