Chapter 4 of the North Dakota Society of Professional Engineers, FM Engineers, is pleased to announce the 2018 award winners of its annual awards competition.
The group recognized the 2018 Young Engineer of the Year and the 2018 Outstanding Project Design at its annual awards banquet which was held during the recent 2019 National Engineers Week.
2018 Young Engineer of the Year
Scott Kolbinger, PE was named the 2018 Young Engineer of the Year. Kolbinger, a registered professional engineer, is employed by KLJ Engineering as a project manager in municipal transportation and land development.
A Becker native and NDSU civil engineering graduate, Kolbinger has been active in the FM Engineers Club programs that promote the field of engineering with the public and students.
He’s also very active in a number of professional organizations, along with many community activities including the Hawley JCs, Fargo Rotary Club, and other service club functions. Kolbinger lives in Hawley, MN with his wife and family.
