Memorial Day services for Becker, Clear Lake and Clearwater have been set.   
 
Becker  Area Services
 
Becker American Legion Post 193 will conduct its usual six services: 8:30 a.m., Elk River Bridge on Co. Rd. 24; 9 a.m., Snake River Cemetery; 9:30 a.m., Santiago Cemetery (Reeds); 10 a.m., South Santiago Lutheran Cemetery; 10:30 a.m., Danetown Cemetery; 11 a.m., Becker Cemetery.   
 
The Legion will again host its Memorial Day dinner at the Becker Community Center, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. They will be serving turkey or ham with all the trimmings to all interested parties for $10. Veterans receive a discounted charge of just $5.
 
Clearwater/Clear Lake Services
 
There are a number of opportunities for Clearwater and Clear Lake residents to reflect and remember this Memorial Day.
 
Starting at 9 a.m., the Clearwater American Legion Post 323 and the Clear Lake American Legion Post 354 color guards will be at the St. Marcus Cemetery in Clear Lake. At 9:15 both color guards will be at the Clear Lake Cemetery on Highway 10.
 
9:45 will find the Clearwater color guard at Highland Cemetery in Hasty. From there they will travel to three Clearwater cemeteries; Mt. Hope Cemetery at 10 a.m., St. Luke’s Cemetery at 10:15, and Acacia Cemetery at 10:30.
 
At all five cemeteries the names of the dead will be read followed by a 21-gun salute and the playing of Taps. The Clearwater Legion Riders will be following the color guards throughout the morning.
 
At 11 a.m. the Clearwater American Legion will have a short program followed by lunch.
