Graduates From Clearwater And Clear Lake Have Impressive Plans For The Future

Graduating with knowledge, determination and the drive to succeed, the Clearwater and Clear Lake senior class of 2018 is ready and eager to take on the world and begin the next phase of their lives.
 
Owen Albers, Clearwater, parents Beth and Mike Albers.
 
Albers graduated from Tech High School and his future plans include becoming an apprentice electrician. In high school he worked at Central Hydraulics and was involved in lacrosse, football and baseball.
 
One of his favorite memories is playing football at recess. 
 
Sarah Damhof, Clearwater, parents Tim and Marlene Damhof.
 
Damhof graduated from Tech High School and plans to attend Luther College in Decorah, IA. During high school she was involved in drama, We Act/Social Justice Club, Link Crew, Youth as Resources, National Honor Society, band, pep band and Spanish club. She was also a seventh grade confirmation guide at Rejoice Lutheran Church and a junior Rotarian with the St. Cloud Rotary Club.
 
Tyler Carper, Clearwater, parents Israel and Jenny Carper.
 
Carper graduated from Tech High School and plans to attend the University of Minnesota Morris to study environmental science and play baseball. In high school he played baseball and football.
 
Some of his favorite school memories are making new friends every year. His advice to future seniors, “Don’t stress too much about college. 
 
Dylan Goenner, Clear Lake, parents Jean and Kevin Goenner.
 
Goenner graduated from Tech High School and plans to attend St. Cloud State University. During high school he worked on the farm and was involved in golf.
 
One of his favorite school memories is the fifth-grade trip to the State Capital. 
 
Alison Grams, Clearwater, parents Holly and Ron Grams.
 
Grams graduated from Tech High School and plans on attending Alexandria Technical & Community College for law enforcement. During high school she was involved in softball and orchestra.
 
One of her favorite school memories is going to clown school in second grade. 
 
Griffin Johnson, Clear Lake.
 
Johnson plans to go to St. Cloud Technical & Community College for two years for generals and then transferring to Bemidji State University. During high school he worked at the Clearwater Dairy Queen and was involved in cross country, baseball and golf.
 
One of his favorite memories is taking third place at the state baseball tournament. 
 
Ian Kimmerle, Palmer, parents Rich and Rachel Kimmerle.
 
Kimmerle graduated from Becker High School and plans to attend St. Cloud State University for physical education and health. During high school he was involved in musicals and worked at B & J Evergreen Tree Farm.
 
His favorite school memory is art class with Ms. Gerdts-Senger. 
 
Hayden Lee, Clear Lake, parents Chad and Mandy Lee.
 
Lee graduated from Tech High School and his future plans include managing The Barrel Mill. He played football in high school and was assistant production manager at The Barrel Mill.
 
One of his favorite school memories was playing lava tag on the playground. 
 
Mickaela Maehren, Clearwater, parents Ken and Kris Maehren.
 
Maehren graduated from Annandale High School and plans to attend St. Ben’s in the fall. During high school she was involved in speech, key club, BPA, one act and the fall play.
 
Her favorite school memories are creating a family feeling in the teams she was involved in. 
 
Mitchell Mohs, Clear Lake, parents Mitch and Cindy Mohs.
 
Mohs graduated from Tech High School and plans to attend the electrical program at St. Cloud Technical & Community College. In high school he worked at Voight’s and was involved in baseball and golf.
 
One of his favorite school memories is the field trip to the Minnesota Zoo. 
 
Austin Paul, Clear Lake, parents Todd and Cindy Paul.
 
Paul graduated from Tech High School and plans to work for a year and then go to technical college. In high school he worked at Brown-Wilbert and was involved in lacrosse, swimming and diving, and football.
 
One of his favorite school memories is waiting for the doors to open for recess at Clearview. 
 
Mariah Schwartz, Clearwater, parents Tom and Krista Schwartz.
 
Schwartz graduated from Tech High School and plans to attend St. Cloud Technical & Community College for marketing. In high school she worked at Justice and wrote for the school newspaper.
 
One of her favorite school memories is the end of the year sixth grade party at the lake. 
 
Connor Senkyr, Clearwater, parents Jim and Kay Senkyr.
 
Senkyr graduated from Tech High School and plans on attending Central Lakes College in Brainerd for videography. During high school he worked at a family owned business and was involved in cross country. 
 
Some of his favorite school memories are recess and the one mile run with Clearview phy ed teacher Mr. Bienusa. 
 
Tatum Storkamp, Clear Lake, father Colby Storkamp
 
Storkamp graduated from Tech High School and plans to attend St. Cloud State University to become a world history teacher. In high school she was involved in soccer, lacrosse, choir, We Care Club, and GSA (Gay Straight Alliance).
 
One of her favorite school memories is participating in the Disney-themed choir show last year at Becker. 
 
Mara Strobel, Clearwater, parents Pete and Sharon Strobel.
 
Strobel graduated from Tech High School and plans to attend Minnesota State Mankato for exercise science. In high school she worked at the Travel Plaza, wrote for the school newspaper, and was involved in golf and volleyball.
 
One of her favorite memories is the end of the year sixth grade party. 
 
Autumn Webb, Clearwater, parents Jeff and Tammy Webb.
 
Webb graduated from Tech High School and plans on attending the paraprofessional program at St. Cloud Technical & Community College. In high school she worked at Bonanza Steak House and the St. Cloud Hospital, and was involved in concert choir and soccer.
 
Her favorite school memories are the art classes at Clearview because she loves art and the teacher was awesome.  
 
Conner Woodman, Clear Lake, parents Erin and John Woodman.
 
Woodman graduated from Tech High School and plans to attend the University of Minnesota Duluth for computer science. In high school he was involved in cross country, snowboarding, music production, badminton club and bike club.
 
One of his favorite school memories is playing kickball with Clearview phy ed teacher Mr. B. (Bienusa). 
 
Jordyn Thomas Zewski, Palmer, parents Robin and Matt Zewski.
 
Zewski graduated from St. John’s Prep and is undecided on his future plans. During high school he was involved in soccer, hockey, orchestra and lots of clubs including intro to medicine.
 
One of his favorite school memories is singing in the high school talent show.
