Danielle Girtz, daughter of Russ and Kelley Girtz, Becker is serving on the North Dakota State University President’s Council for Campus Well-being.
The council supports the academic mission of NDSU by addressing a range of student health and wellness issues, including mental and physical health, substance use, social well-being and safety. The group includes faculty, staff and student leaders who represent many campus departments and organizations to holistically address all aspects of student well-being.
Girtz serves on the council as a student representative for Campus Attractions.
“My work throughout college have always been focused on improving the day-to-day lives of students by providing fun events through Campus Attractions,” Girtz said. “It is an honor to be given the opportunity to be a part of a council endorsed by the President of NDSU and work to really make some changes on campus.”
Girtz is a senior majoring in marketing. Girtz’s activities at NDSU include Kappa Delta sorority, Blue Key Honor Society and Campus Attractions.
