Freedom Days Kiddie Parade Draws Over 150 Participants

It was a mass of bikes, trikes, scooters, skates, wagons and strollers as over 150 kids and their parents lined up at the Becker Community Center for the Freedom Days Kiddie Parade June 17.

To kick off the parade the crowd joined together in singing the National Anthem, and then the kids were off, circling around the parking lot to upbeat music and waving at the bystanders as they passed by.

Led by members of the community center, the parade looped around numerous times before ending. The kids were then invited to partake in refreshments, and names were drawn for 20 bike helmets that were being given away.
