FREEDOM DAZE. Hancock Street was a hive of activity after the Freedom Days parade in Becker last Saturday.

TRACTOR PARADE. Santiago's Richard Harshman and his John Deere led a line of Farmalls and other tractors in the Becker Freedom Days parade last Saturday.
THE COLORS. Members of the Honor Guard of Becker American legion post 193 and the Becker Sons of the American Legion carried The Colors at the head of the Freedom Days parade last Saturday morning.
WITH PRIDE. The Becker Beyond the Yellow ribbon organization entry honored returning troops in the Becker Freedom Days parade last Saturday.
ENTERTAINER. Buzz the Clown entertained spectators on the sidelines during the Freedom Days parade in Becker last Saturday morning.
DOGGED. This handsome standard poodle greeted spectators from the cab of the aptly-named "Dawg House" semi-tractor during the Freedom Days parade in Becker last Saturday.
TRADITION. The Becker High School Bulldog Marching Band is a traditional favorite in the Freedom Days parade each year.
STREET DANCE. The Becker High School Dance Team performed during the Freedom Days parade last Saturday.
LONG RIDER. Clear Lake's Mike Garland waved to the crowd during the Freedom Days parade in Becker last Saturday. Garland returned to the area Friday evening after completing a 3,800 mile bicycle ride from Clear Lake to Oregon and back to raise funds for the American Cancer Society.
ROBOTNIKS. The Becker High School robotics team entry featured several of their recent robotic creations on a float in the Freedom Days parade. The team also did a demonstration of their latest creations on the Hancock Street stage after the parade.
SENIOR SERVICE. The Becker Area senior Center display was full of healthy snacks and helpful information at the Freedom Days celebration last Saturday.
MOVES. "Dino-Mite DJ" had everybody dancing on Hancock Street last Saturday after the Freedom Days parade, including the Becker High School Dance Team.
AMAZING FACE. Natalie from Becker dazzled in this spectacular face-paint application during the Freedom Days celebration last Saturday.
BY THE NUMBERS. Roger Bigalke enjoyed his traditional role as the bingo caller at the Becker American legion building during the Freedom Days celebration last Saturday.
FARM FUN. Youngsters enjoyed visiting the Hasse Petting Zoo during the Freedom Days celebration in Becker last Saturday.
ROYAL WAVE. Sherburne County Fair royalty greeted Freedom Days parade spectators with the "royal wave' last Saturday morning.
GOOD CROWD. More than 200 area residents turned out for the first annual Celebration of Freedom Barbeque at the Becker Community Center last Friday night. The event was sponsored by the Becker Lion's Club, American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary and the Becker Beyond the Yellow Ribbon group, and featured food and music by "The Bridge Brothers."
MEDALLION FOUND. Seven-year-old Becker resident Avery Dawson cracked the code and found the Freedom Days medallion last Wednesday morning. The prize was hidden in a hollow tree at Faith Lutheran Church. He is shown with the medallion and a crisp $100 bill he received on a visit to the Sherburne State Bank this week.
