Enthusiastic Crowds Line The Streets For Freedom Days Parade

It was a beautiful day for the Becker Freedom Days parade Saturday, June 18, as over 100 entries passed by the throng of attendees packed along the route.

The parade featured police and fire departments, surrounding businesses and organizations, politicians, princesses, horses, cars, tractors and more, most decked in red, white and blue to celebrate freedom and the 4th of July. Candy, can coolers and more were thrown out to the enthusiastic crowd.

Although the Becker middle school band has always wowed the crowds, new this year was the addition of four more middle school bands, coming from Annandale, Milaca, Sartell and Sauk Rapids. Their inclusion added even more flags, music and entertainment to the already fun-filled parade.
