Congressman Tom Emmer has announced that he will be hosting an informational forum for seniors and their caregivers in Wright County. This forum is in partnership with the Metropolitan Area Agency on Aging and the Central Minnesota Council on Aging.

 

Attendees will receive a free Aging Mastery® Starter Kit, while supplies last, courtesy of Metropolitan Area Agency on Aging. These kits have practical tips for aging well across six dimensions: Gratitude and Mindfulness, Health and Well-Being, Finances and Future Planning, Connections and Community, Learning and Creativity, and Legacy and Purpose.

 

"I look forward to hosting this forum, to gather and provide resources to our aging community. They deserve to age with dignity and support, and I will do my best to ensure that happens. This forum is just the first step in my efforts to connect our seniors and their caregivers to the resources available to them. I hope you will join us!" Said Emmer. 

 

The date is June 14 from 1-3:30 p.m. at St. Michael City Hall council chambers. The address is 11800 Town Center Drive, St. Michael, MN 55376.
