A 70-year-old Elk River man died as a result of a crash in Otsego last Friday evening.

Dennis Carl Kerssen was traveling southbound in his 1999 Chevrolet GMT-400 on Hwy. 101, approaching Wright Co. Rd. 36 when Kerssen’s vehicle left the roadway and struck the bridge wall. Kerssen was pronounced dead at the scene.

Agencies assisting at the scene were Wright County Sheriff’s Office and the  St. Michael and Rogers Fire Departments.
