Chilly temperatures did not discourage area youngsters from taking part in the annual “Breakfast with the Easter Bunny” at the Becker Community Center Saturday morning.
After enjoying the traditional pancakes, sausage and juice served by members of the Becker Lion’s Club, a steady stream of youngsters and their parents lined up for a few minutes with “The Bunny,” and some early Easter candy treats from his assistant after they had had their little talk.
While most of the youngsters were excited to see the great white rabbit, there were a few of the younger set who were not quite sure about a bunny that big, though most were able to overcome their shyness after receiving a big hug from “His Easterness.”
