The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is reminding those with fish houses on lakes in the southern two-thirds of Minnesota that the deadline to remove fish houses is Monday, March 3. 

Despite the conditions that make it possible to continue ice fishing, structures that remain on lakes after the deadline can be confiscated and the owners can face fines.
