Lonnie Fluck opened Cross Talent Solutions in Becker in August of this year. Cross Talent offers HR services to small companies that don’t necessarily need to hire a full-time human resources department, or to any-size company that needs extra HR help due to COVID-19.

Fluck can help companies with business management; talent planning and acquisition; learning and development; total rewards programs; strategies for structuring growth; helping transition employees to working from home, or vice versa; and creating clarity in job expectations. They will also help people get hired. Cross Talent finds the passion and drive in talented people and matches them up with the companies that will need and appreciate them the most.

Cross Talent Solutions has customers all across the midwest, most of which are located between St. Cloud and Maple Grove. Fluck has spent 23 years in the talent acquisition and HR field, and has 15 years of management experience. He has hired more than 1,000 people during his career. He is a member of the Society of Human Resources and is a current member of the Becker Chamber of Commerce.

Branching Out

Fluck decided to open his own company after decades of having to drive to the cities every day. He realized that there are so many local companies that could use his services, especially in the time of COVID, on which he wanted to focus.

“For me,” he states, “It has always been about helping people. And when I bring together companies, who need great people in order to grow, and talented people, who no longer need to spend over an hour each way commuting, that is a good feeling. I think I can really help people in this area. There is a huge need with all that is going on now for companies to answer human resources questions.”
