Friday evening, supporters of the Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge came out for an evening of craft beer, wine, and cheese tasting at The Friendly Buffalo.
This event was put on by The Friends of Sherburne National Wildlife Refuge. Event goers got to enjoy appetizers, lively conversation, music and bidding on quality silent auction items. Proceeds from this event will be used to support environmental education at the Refuge's new Oak Savanna Learning Center.
Lake Liquors of Big Lake supplied beverages for sampling and knowledgeable people to talk about them. C & L distributing had many different craft beers to sample such as Goose Island IPA, Kono Big Wave and Jack Pine Vengeance.
There were also four wine vendors at this event, Phillips wine and Spirits, The Wine Company, Breakthru Beverage and Wine Merchants, all of which had an amazing array of wines to taste.
The music was provided by, Marcie New, John Seppannen, Cliff Crockford and Erik Thebert, who played old country and folk music.
