The 2017-2018 Sherburne County 4-H Banquet was held Nov. 17.
During the meeting, the following Sherburne County 4-H members were voted on to be the 2018-2019 Youth Officers over all of Sherburne County 4-H;
• President - Marissa Mox;
• Vice President - Cole Rosenlund;
• Secretary - Aidan Rizk;
• Treasurer - Owen Babler.
Each of the youth officers will be working with Danielle Ganje, who is the Sherburne County 4-H Program Coordinator. A project they will be working on in the next month will be starting a Sherburne County Youth Leadership Group.
Some awards rhanded out at the banquet include:
• The Home Explorers 4-H Club earned the Gold Medal Club Award;
• The Refuge Rangers 4-H Club earned the Silver Medal Club Award;
• The Refuge Rangers earned The Golden Wheel Barrow Award for overall heardsmanship at the Sherburne County Fair;
• Jill Babler the Leader of the Home Explorers Club received the 2017-2018 Outstanding 4-H Volunteer Award;
• Karen Gudim received an award for being a Sherburne County 4-H Volunteer for the Home Explorers Club for 25 years;
• Marv Ziner received an award for being a volunteer for Sherburne County 4-H for 45 years.
