In the Patriot’s May, 2025 Clearwater Bridge Guide, a number of errors were produced and we at the Patriot are issuing the following corrections.

On page 2, the City Council Members mentioned were incorrect. Here are the names updated: Mayor Andrea Lawrence, Kris Crandall, James Schwinghammer, Nancy Senn and Corissa Everett.

On page 2, City staff were incorrectly identified and so the following is actual: Accounting Clerk: Maci Hill; Community Development Specialist: Kimberlie Gramsey; Utility Billing Clerk: Alan Strohschein and Public Works Supervisor: John Schmidt.

On page 19, the Clearwater-Clear Lake Food Shelf should say: The Clearwater-Clear Lake Food Shelf serves individuals and families facing food insecurity across Clearwater, Clear Lake and surrounding areas. The mission is centered on providing food and support services with compassion and care.

On page 12 under Parks and Recreation, the following park was omitted inadvertently: Veteran;s Memorial Park; Between Co. Rd. 75 and Bluff Street. This project was built in partnership with the local veterans organizations and community members.

The Patriot regrets the errors and omissions and vows to apply the corrections to the next issue next Spring.

Also, the Mayor, Andrea Lawrence issued a new letter that is featured on page 2 of this week’s Patriot.
