In last week’s article on happenings with the Becker Township meeting, this reporter inadvertently detailed resident Mark Wimmer saying “the culvert cost came in at nearly $36,000 and wondered why since he saw prices for culverts in the $20 a foot range.”

 

After conferring with Wimmer, he said, “I was specifically told that Cretex had ‘second hand’ pipe on hand when (Engineer Terrance) VanderEyk had initially contacted them in 2014 at $20 per foot. This is what Eyk said.  Not me.”
