Stearns County Human Services, Benton County Human Services, and Sherburne County Health and Human Services are collaborating to offer workplace wellness opportunities through the Statewide Health Improvement Program (SHIP).  Tri Wellness at Work is a tri-county initiative intended to engage companies in planning, assessing, and implementing a workplace wellness program.

 

Tri Wellness at Work helps interested employers strengthen their workplace culture and offer more opportunities for employees to make healthier choices.

 

 During 2016 and 2017, counties will be helping participating employers share best practice strategies for policy, systems, environment, and strengthen social support initiatives.  These activities aim at helping employees eat better, be more active, quit/ reduce tobacco use, increase capacity for lifestyle/ stress management, and support new moms in breastfeeding.  Participating companies will receive tools and templates to assist them in these strategies.
