CLFD honors retiring and current firefighters

Clear Lake City held a special event last weekend at Jack & Jim’s in Duelm, honoring 15 retirees, the firefighter of the year and a special tribute to an exceptional firefighter who passed away last year.

Firefighter Logan Draack was awarded with the 2023’s firefighter of the year award and was presnted a trophy.

Kevin and Jill Lietha retired from the CLFD with 20 years of service each and were presented with a large plaque.

Retiree Regan Johnson was presented with a large plaque and flowers.

Clear Lake Fire Departments Assistant Chief Craig Miller, who died of cancer in 2023, was also honored last weekend.
