Notice of Hearing on Improvement
City of Clearwater
SE Area Street & Utility Improvements
TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN:
Notice is hereby given that the City Council of Clearwater will meet in the Council Chambers of the City Hall at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, December 10, 2018 to consider the making of street and utility improvements on the following streets:
• Bittersweet Drive - Walnut Street to Porter Street
• Spring Street - Cul-de-sac to Porter Street
• Porter Street - Bittersweet Drive to Kothman Circle
• Porter Circle - Cul-de-sac to Porter Street
• Manor Drive - Porter Street to CR 75
• Main Street- Watermain connection at County Road 75
The proposed improvements within the roadway right-of-way include replacement of watermain and watermain services, construction of concrete curb and gutter, aggregate base, bituminous pavement and restoration of disturbed areas.
The improvements will be done pursuant to Minnesota Statute§§ 429.011 to 429.111. The area proposed to be assessed for such improvements are those properties which abut the proposed improvements. The total estimated cost of the improvement is $1,265,500. A reasonable estimate of the impact of the assessment will be available at the hearing. Such persons as desire to be heard with reference to the proposed improvements will be heard at this meeting.
In addition, there will be a Project Information Open House held at Lions Park on Tuesday, December 4, 2018 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Anyone wishing to obtain additional information and ask questions on the project may stop in anytime during this period of time.
