Third grade students at Clearview entertained their families Thursday with their year-end concerts, featuring singing and recorder music.

 

Each of the three third grade classrooms put on their own performance throughout the day, beginning with Hello to all the Children of the World, which had the students singing hello in different languages. 

 

Music teacher Karen Ingeman directed the students as well as accompanying them on the piano and guitar. Vocal selections included Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, It’s a Beautiful Day and Land of the Silver Birch. Three of the numbers highlighted what the students had learned on their recorders, and many of the songs featured student soloists.

 

“The kids are excited and always rise to the occasion in exhibiting their best in getting ready,” said Ingeman.
