A group of students gathered at Clearview Elementary this week to prepare for the upcoming school year and brainstorm ways to make it a great one.

 

Cheerful student sunflower artwork was hung up along the walls, and some of the students created audio and video clips to introduce the words of the week to their classmates for the 2016/2017 school year. A welcome back banner was created that each of the students signed their name to.

 

The students were entered into a drawing to win bikes and lights. Horace Mann donated the bikes, and the lights were to serve as a reminder to the students to stay safe while working in their community. Each student also received a treat bag.

 

The first day of school for Clearview students is Wednesday, Sept. 7.
