Clearview Elementary’s scarecrows are once again greeting visitors on the school’s front lawn.
Following the annual tradition, Clearview fifth graders planned their family activity themed scarecrows in teams of two to four. After brainstorming, each group created a sketch of their best idea along with a list of accessories needed to bring their scarecrow to life.
Clearview parents donated bales of straw for the students to use for their creations. The straw will be used to cover the plants in the school’s reading garden after the scarecrows are taken down.
