The Clear Lake Fire Dept. will be hosting their annual fire and rescue open house Sat., Oct. 7 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Clear Lake Fire Hall on 1st Ave. West.
Along with a free lunch, the event will include giveaways, drawings for bicycles and free t-shirts for the kids (while supplies last). Attendees can also ride on a fire truck, view a North Memorial helicopter, play games and make buttons.
Sherburne County K-9 and Connexus Energy will also be on hand.
Drawing for raffle ticket winners will be held at 3 p.m. All profits made from the sale of the tickets will go towards much-needed equipment for the department.
“I can’t express enough how far our open house has come,” said Firefighter Kari Mechtel. “I’d like to thank the community for their continued support and all the firefighters and families who help make this event possible.”
