The Clear Lake Fire Dept. will be holding their annual firefighter’s dance July 18 at Goenner Park.
The dance will not only feature great music to dance to, but it will also have lots of things for the kids to do as well. A giant, inflatable bouncy castle will be on site for the kids to tromp on as well as the ever-popular dunk tank, which brings out the child in everyone who seeks to douse a local “celebrity”.
Food and beverages will also be served starting at 4 p.m. when the event commences, thanks to Peterson Farms. The Clear Lake Legion will be serving up fried chicken and fixings.
Music from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. will be provided by Sound Check and Platinum FM will be the main group from 8 p.m. to midnight.
Fireworks will light up the sky at dusk and door prizes and raffles are all part of what makes the annual firefighter’s dance the place to be mid-July.
A special thanks to all families and business who donated to make the night possible. Also a special thanks to firefighters and their families for their daily support.
All proceeds will go to the Clear Lake Firefighters Relief Association. Goenner Park is located at 8670 1st Ave. W. in Clear Lake.
