Clear Lake Council hears development update

The Clear Lake City Council met Monday evening and heard updates on two residential developments as part of their 18 minute agenda.

City Engineer Keith Yapp reported on progress in the Parkside Development, as utility work is nearly complete and over a dozen new homes are under construction. Some of them are being constructed for new homeowners, while others are expected to be Model Homes for the developer.

On the other end of town, the Hunter Lake Bluffs development is ready for construction likely at the beginning of 2024, when the next phase will see construction. The developer recently applied for an administrative lot split, which is being granted and will signal the next phase of the development.
