CIS Robotics continues their build season and prepares for this years game.
This week the media team is working towards finalizing the “Meet the Team” video. This video will be viewed in C.I.S. 4607’s pit at competitions and published on YouTube and the team website. This video has been a fun project for Senior Media Producer Evan Girtz for the past three seasons.
The programming team for C.I.S. 4607 has always put pride in mentoring rookie teams. On the agenda this week, the C.I.S. programming department has been helping rookie teams with programming needs. They have also been coding practice drivetrain and were able to take it for a spin up and down the hallways of BHS.
CIS's STEP team, Safety, Training, Equipment, and Pit, have been compiling the 2018 safety binder and redoing battery terminals in order to eliminate the risk of an electrical hazard. They have also been finalizing the yearly standard operating procedures.
On strategy this week members have began working on developing a game playbook so the drive team can better manage the game for certain situations.
The department of business and finance has been working insanely hard on the business plan and Team Bible. The business plan is the formal document which outlines CIS's goals for the season. This plan also includes what needs to be done in order to achieve their goals.
CIS team engineers have been the doing Failure Mode Evaluation Analysis (FMEA) on the drivetrain. CIS is currently meeting their targeted objectives on the Gantt Chart.
