Are you ready for Christmas?
Area churches are inviting the public to attend their Christmas Eve and Christmas Day services as well as attend numerous Holiday-related productions put on in celebration of Jesus’ birth.
Becker Churches
Becker Baptist Church will hold their usual Sunday service at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 23 and then have a Christmas Eve Candlelight service, Mon., Dec. 24 at 4:30 p.m.
Church of Mary of the Visitation of Becker and Big Lake will hold their usual Sunday service, Dec. 23 at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. in Big Lake. For Christmas Eve, they will hold mass at 4 p.m. in Becker and 7:30 p.m. in Big Lake. At 11:59 p.m. on Christmas Eve, the Big Lake Church will hold a Midnight Mass service and Becker will hold a Christmas Day service at 9 a.m.
Oakwood Community Church will be holding their annual Drive-Thru Nativity, Dec. 21, 22 and 23 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Becker Furniture World parking lot. Their Christmas Eve service will be at 10 a.m.
Becker Evangelical Church will hold their Christmas Eve service Dec. 24 at 10 a.m. They will also have a Gospel According to Scrooge performance in the Becker High School small auditorium at 10 to 11:15 a.m. Dec. 23.
Faith Lutheran Church of Becker will hold their Fourth Sunday of Advent service at 9:30 a.m. Dec. 23 then hold a Christmas Eve Candlelight service with Holy Communion Dec. 24 at 4 and 9 p.m.
Snake River Free Mission Church will hold their Christmas Eve service at 4:30 p.m. Dec. 24. Their Christmas program is Sun., Dec. 16 at 10:30 a.m.
Big Lake Churches
Church of Mary of the Visitation of Becker and Big Lake will hold their usual Sunday service, Dec. 23 at 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. in Big Lake. For Christmas Eve, they will hold mass at 4 p.m. in Becker and 7:30 p.m. in Big Lake. At 11:59 p.m. on Christmas Eve, the Big Lake Church will hold a Midnight Mass service and Becker will hold a Christmas Day service at 9 a.m.
Lord of Glory Lutheran Church will hold their traditional worship service Sun., Dec. 23 at 9 a.m. They will hold three Christmas Eve Candlelight services Dec. 24 at 4, 6 and 11 p.m. (Communion at 11 p.m.). A Christmas Day worship service is scheduled for Dec. 25 at 9 a.m.
Riverside Church has four Christmas Eve service s Dec. 24 at 11 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. A Christmas Carol will be hold Dec. 7, 8 and 9 at the church. Friday’s show is at 7 p.m., Saturday and Sunday’s two shows are at 4 and 6 p.m.
Saron Lutheran Church will hold their Candlelight Christmas Eve services Dec. 24 at 2, 4 and 6 p.m.
Bridgeview Assembly of God Church will hold their Christmas Eve service Dec. 24 at 10 a.m.
Spirit Life Church has two Christmas Eve services Dec. 24 at 9:45 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.
Hope Lutheran Church in Orrock has a Christmas Eve service Dec. 24 at 10 a.m.
