Caucuses will begin another round of political activity, leading to off-year elections this November.
Caucuses will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday (Feb. 6) in a number of area sites, attended by Democrats and Republicans.
Becker city, township, Clear Lake city and township, Palmer and Santiago township Democrats will meet at Becker High School small auditorium.
Becker city, township, Clear Lake city and township, Palmer and Santiago township Republicans will meet at Becker Baptist Church on Sherburne Avenue.
Haven Twp. Democrats will meet at Talahi School, Room 98, 1321 niversity Drive SE in St. Cloud.
Haven Twp. Republicans will meet at Apollo High School, 1000 44th Avenue N., St. Cloud.
Clearwater city and township Democrats will also meet at Becker High school, small auditorium. Lynden Twp. democrats will meet at the Lynden Twp. Hall, 21367 Co. Rd. 44 in Clearwater.
Lynden Twp. Republicans will meet at Rocori High School, 534 5th Street N. in Cold Spring.
Clearwater city and township Republicans will meet at the Clearwater American Legion Hall in Clearwater.
Purposes of the caucuses will be to receive resolutions from residents which may work their way up the channels to become proposals for law.
Delegates to their respective county conventions will be designated.
Also, residents can expect straw polls on preferences for Minnesota governor, state office, US senate and congressional candidates.
