SISTER ACT. Abby Lindberg and Bev Gruber were on the kitchen crew for the Becker Lion's Club/Backpack Buddies breakfast fund-raiser last Sunday morning at the Becker Community Center. The Backpack buddies organization provides easy-to-fix nutritional meals for more than 200 district students to take home on weekends. The voluntary-donation event also included a free health screening for attendees.
GOOD SCOUTS. The Becker Lion's Club and Becker Boy Scout and Cub Scout troop members cooked and waited tables at a fund-raiser breakfast for the Becker Backpack Buddies school nutrition program last Sunday at the Becker Community Center.
