The 10th annual Big Lake Block Party is taking place today from 10am - 2pm at McPete’s Sports Bar and Lanes. Admission is $5 for all children and adults over three years old.

The Block Party features lots of events for kids, including  “bowling, mini-golf, Scouts Inflatable BB Gun Range sponsored by MPI-Manufacturing Partners Inc, music, activities, and youth water balloon dodgeball sponsored by The Wave Youth Center,” according to the Big Lake Chamber of Commerce’s Facebook page. The first 100 kids to attend will receive a gift bag, and a drawing will take place to give away six children’s bikes. Hambergers, hot dogs, and beverages will be available for purchase.

Along with McPete’s, other local sponsers include the Big Lake Police, Cargill, Connexus Energy, Coborn’s, Minnco Credit Union, Sherburne State Bank, and several others.
