“We want to encourage every family to attend our Big Lake Block Party,” said Committee Chair and Gold Sponsor Dr. Kristi McAlpin from Big Lake Area Veterinary Hospital. “You can bowl, play mini-golf, toss games and pick a prize from fish bowl from 10-1:30 pm on Saturday, Aug 19th at one of our Platinum Sponsors, McPete’s Entertainment Center.”
Gold Sponsor Liberty Bank will have a balloonist. Big Lake Ambassadors will offer face painting. Police, fire and classic vehicles will be available. Evolution Tae Kwon Do, Starz Dance Studio and Tempo Dance will provide entertainment. El Teca Barber Shop is offering free haircuts. The Wave Youth Center will provide water balloon dodgeball from 1-1:30 pm so youth are encouraged to dress appropriately.
The first 100 youths will receive a backpack sponsored by our Silver Sponsor Majestic Creations filled with great items from area businesses. Youth can also register to win 10 bikes and four sets of a scooter and a skateboard!
Platinum Sponsor Coborn’s will provide hamburgers, hotdogs, fixings and chips for a small fee. Ace Solid Waste and Big Lake Spud Fest are also Platinum and Bike Sponsors.
