BECKER POLICE CHIEF BRENT BALOUN (L) presented a plaque to outgoing police officer Jon Kurtz (R) Tuesday afternoon. Kurtz accepted a position with the Crystal PD and began serving that community Wednesday after being with Becker for over six years as an officer and as a Becker Volunteer Police Reserve before that.
